Dear Swim Team Families,

We are seeking volunteers who work in a medical-related field (current BLS certification or ACLS certification preferred) to staff our First Aid Station during our MOWSC Conference Meet. We will have a first aid kit and an AED. 911 will be called for any medical emergencies.

We are looking for individuals such as:

• Physicians
• PA-Cs
• APRNs
• Nurses
• EMTs or Paramedics
• Athletic Trainers
• Physical Therapists
• Other licensed or certified medical professionals with current BLS training

This volunteer opportunity will count toward your family's required volunteer shift at Conference. The number of volunteers will determine the length of the shift (we anticipate ~2-3hr shifts), and this is a great way to fulfill your volunteer requirement while helping ensure the safety and well-being of our swimmers.

Volunteers will be able to watch their swimmers during their races if not actively treating someone, as long as they leave a cellphone number with someone in the event they are needed. This position is in the air-conditioned clubhouse, and volunteers will have access to hospitality food while working.
