Hello Team!

The pool opens today and we will be starting practices and evaluations Monday May 11! (Yes, this Monday!)

We are functioning with a limited coaching staff, so all pre-season practices will be by sign-up only to maintain a safe swimmer-to-coach ratio and for optimal instruction.

Please follow these steps to sign your swimmers up for evaluations & practices (both are separate sign-ups)

From a computer from the home page: (https://ktst.swimtopia.com/)

1. Locate the date and event you are signing up for (practice or evaluation) under the “Meets and Events” tab and then the “Sign Up Calendar” tab
2. Click “Job signup” then the “Sign up for jobs” button
3. Check the box next to the Practice session or Evaluation session you want to sign up for and then click “Save Assignments”
4. Go to the RSVP and click “Attending” and in the comments box put the name(s) of the swimmer(s) you are signing up.
5. Repeat this process for all practices you would like to sign up for. Only sign up for evaluations ONCE

From a mobile phone from the SwimTopia App:

1. Open the App – you will see upcoming events listed below the Members of your SwimTopia account (this will include any grandparents signed up, etc).
2. Click the event you want to sign up for (Swim Practice or Evaluations)
3. Click “Job Sign Up” under the “Work Shifts” bar
4. You will see only parents listed, pick yourself and check the box next to the Practice session or Evaluation session you want to sign your swimmer up for and then click “Save Assignments”
5. Go back to the RSVP page for that event and click “Attending” and in the comments box put the name(s) of the swimmer(s) you are signing up.
6. Repeat this process for all practices you would like to sign up for. Only sign up for evaluations ONCE.

As an overview, these are the dates and times we are having Practices and Evaluations:

Practices:

Monday May 11 - 5pm-7pm

Tuesday May 12 - 5pm-7pm

Thursday May 14 - *HYPE Night 5:30-7:30pm (no evals or practice)

Monday May 18 - 5pm - 7pm

*Tuesday May 19 (Election Day, no school) - 4pm-6pm

Thursday May 21 - 5-7pm (Tentative based on coach availability due to EJHS grad)

After Memorial Day:

Mornings:

Monday May 26 through Wednesday June 3 from 9am-10:30am

Evenings:

Tuesday May 26 - 5-7pm

Thursday May 28 - 5-7pm

Monday June 1 - 5-7pm

Tuesday June 2 - 5-7pm

*Wednesday June 3 Home meet against Cumberland Hill Catfish

Regular practices 8am-11:05am start June 4th until season ends (July 9th last practice)

Evaluations:

Mondays, *Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm-7pm (5/11-5/28)

(No evals Memorial Day, Monday May 25)

*Evals Tuesday May 19 will be from 4:30-6pm in order for the coaches to attend the MOWSC Coaches’ meeting.
